Our weekly service...
We normally meet every Sunday at 11:30am for our family worship service. However, due to government restrictions on public gatherings in an effort to manage the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we are not meeting together in church at present.
However, as Christians we are blessed to know that God is with us in all places and at all times, therefore we have every opportunity to continue in our worship of Him in our own homes. At First, we have put together some resources - First@Home and Jigsaw@Home to help you and your family worship together, so that you can continue to seek God and enjoy His presence.
First@Home
We have created a web page that provides some resources to enable you to worship God wherever you are.
There are guidelines on a suggested format for worship, and each week we will post a new reading and a new sermon so that you can continue the habit of praising and worshipping each Sunday.
The podcast will still be available each week, but our hope is that you can use the First@Home page to deepen your experience so that you are not simply listening, but rather seeking God’s presence, engaging with His word and responding to Him through your worship time.
PrayeR@FIRST
We have chosen to set aside Thursdays as a day when we each prioritise an hour to spend in prayer. It may be an hour before you start your daily activities, the hour when you take your midday break, an hour during the afternoon, or perhaps an hour in the quiet of the evening - choose an hour that suits you best.
Jigsaw@Home
The Jigsaw leaders have put together some activities for our younger members, to help you to worship and enjoy God today.
